Meet Blessing, a young woman in Abuja who is earning a living in a male dominated profession in Nigeria as a female mechanic. She is a secondary school graduate who decided to progress her life by becoming an apprentice mechanic for 4 years and is now managing a mechanic shop repairing cars.

Nigeria’s Social Media Technology Co-Creation Hub

CNN’s Errol Barnett meets Bosun Tijani who wants to improve education with technology. Founded in 2010, the Co-Creation Hub is Nigeria’s first open living lab and pre-incubation space designed as a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place. The organization has received support from the Omidyar Network, Google, Nokia and a host of other local and international firms.
